Sidney L. Frank is a nationally recognized litigation attorney whose distinguished legal career spans more than four decades. He possesses extensive litigation and mediation experience, and has developed an outstanding reputation for his work in litigating and mediating cases involving the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and legal issues involving construction law and surety defense matters. Based on his proficiency in surety law matters, Sidney served as a Board Member and Claims Committee Chair of the Washington, D.C.-based American Surety Association for fifteen years.
Sidney advises clients concerning the purchase and sale of businesses and other commercial transactions, sophisticated business litigation, estate planning, and surety defense and construction law. He has significant experience handling a wide range of business and commercial transactions, including representing clients in the purchase, sale and financing of their businesses and providing succession and estate planning. Additionally, Sidney is an American Arbitration Association's facilitative mediator.
Prior to joining the firm, Sidney was the founding partner at his business and litigation law firm for 35 years.
Among his many accolades, Sidney was recently recognized by Thomson Reuters as a “Michigan SuperLawyer.”

Representative Matters
- Successfully sued the U.S. Navy and obtained the release of his client as a result of fraudulent enlistment
- Argued before the Michigan Supreme Court on a number of occasions and received opinions making new law in the area of Surety Defense and the area of Lost Profits of a business that had never opened
- Represented both purchasers and sellers in asset and stock purchase agreements for many different businesses including manufacturing and auto dealerships
